PMSoft Frequently Asked Questions

Question:  Can I give access to our facility network users to be able to enter unscheduled work orders?
Answer:  Yes you can.  PMSoft will need to be installed on every PC in your facility that will need to enter work orders.  This can be vast and costly.  However, we have a companion product called SOS Remote Work Order System that is web-based and can be installed on a web server to give this same functionality.  Call Softek for more information or visit our website.

Question:  What is included in the annual PMSoft support?
Answer:  You will receive all updates for 12 months, documentation updates, unlimited telephone and email support.

Question:  What is needed to be able to customize reports?
Answer:  Any Crystal Reports 8.5 compatible editor / designer.  If you have or purchased a newer version you will need to save the report in an 8.5 version.

Question:  Do you do custom modifications for individuals?
Answer:  Yes.  We try to include all options that are custom for everyone to be able to use.  There are some custom modifications that not everyone will use so we will make it an option in the Preferences section.

Question: 
Can we buy the PMSoft source code?
Answer:  Yes.  You will be required to sign a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement before purchasing the source code.  Call Softek for pricing.
